Talk about work here

Yeah, I figured there that since there was no forum about jobs and such, we could make one. Say where you work (if you do), what you do, and any other info you can think of. Advertising places that are non-internet is alright here.

I work at a small, family owned boating company in southeastern CT called Defender Industries. I mainly work back in the warehouse, collecting and packing orders to be shipped.

I make the usual $8.50 an hour, and I work 3 days a week, seeing as I work like 10-12 hour days and I am walking on concrete the entire day. It is brutal on the feet.

I just find it fun to go to the top of extremely wobbly ladders and collect 80 pound items that some dip s*** put on the top shelf.

We ship out boating products to all of the US, Canada, and a few other places around here as well.

I work at a gas dock during the summer. A gas dock is the equivalant of a gas station, but gas docks are for boats. It's a very small business, and I work 4 hours a day with my friend. I'm not working there rght now, though, for I am currently home, and the gas dock is at my summer home.

I don't work. I was going to work at the gym where I do gymnastics but I decided that I'm already in the gym for 4 hours a day so I really don't have time for a job.

This is still valid, so bump with my job updates.

I work 2 jobs now.

One at stop and shop as a cashier, which includes the regular cashiering jobs as well as cart pushing, repacks, etc... I work 4-5 days a week at 5 hours a day.

My other job is at the bowling alley. I run the children's birthday parties. Not too hard either. Weekends only

Both jobs are 8 dollars an hour.
